Social Listening Blog-Burger King

Image
The brand I selected is Burger King. Burger King isn't always someone's first choice when they want to go out to eat. Their competition is McDonalds, Taco Bell, Subway, etc. The bigger named companies put Burger King behind the curtain. But Burger King comes out with new items frequently to keep a competitive advantage. I enjoy the food from Burger King. It's interesting how they can get in the holiday spirit and come out with their holiday specials. The two items above are the Ghost Pepper Whopper and Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries. In honor of Halloween, they posted this picture Oct 2 saying, "trick... or heat? find out what the Ghost Pepper has instore 10/13." The caption brought excitement to the fans with the first comment from Nickolas Bottone saying "I just had the ghost pepper whopper today!!       I chose to do my blog on electric cars and how they are the future. An interesting fact is the first electric car was made in 1888 and could only go 9 mph with a 1 hp electric motor. Nowadays they are coming out with a Samsung electric car when only a few years ago they were just making phones. The first Tesla car came out in 2008, it could go around 250 miles on one battery and had a very expensive price tag. Now they are just normal to see, and they have new competitors. Tesla will need to create a new feature to their next car that will make them stand out from the rest.      Around the globe this year, there will be 14 million electric vehicles sold this year, shown by BloomberNEF. Where in 2016 only 700,000 were sold. A few years ago, electric vehicles were a novelty but now you can't drive anywhere without seeing multiple. Technology has gotten bett

My First Blog Post

Hello, my  name is Tyler Walker, I’m a freshman and I’m wanting to major in business with a minor in communications and finish my major at Western Oregon University. I enrolled in this course because it will help me gain knowledge I'm going to use in the future. I'm wanting to do real estate so learning more about sales and stuff to look for in the market are my interests because that will help me be successful when entering the real estate business.  In my free time I like  to ride roller coasters, hiking,  bowl, golf, fish, workout, practice roping and get better at riding a horse (I started this  summer) and doing any sport I can, now that I'm not playing baseball anymore .  I like to watch the Mariners, Blazers, and Seahawks. I grew up playing baseball from a young age and have been a Mariners fan since.
